The changes shall also be notified to the ART and all the parties concerned, accompanied by a report illustrating the reasons for which they have been made, at least 30 days prior to the entry into force thereof, i.e. the date of posting in the website of Rete Ferroviaria Italiana (www.rfi.it). In particular, in relation to the ordinary updating of the NS, the preparation phases and the related timeframe are shown below:

a) within 30 June of year X-2: publication of the draft for consultation of the NS X and related communication to the Authority; b) within 30 July of the year X-2: deadline for submitting observations by the parties concerned; c) within 20 August of year X-2: publication of the observations received by the parties concerned; d) within 30 September of year X-2: publication of the final draft of NS X; at the same time as publication, the IM must send the Authority: the final draft of the NS, a copy of the observations made by each of the parties who participated in the consultation and the related reasons for the acceptance or rejection of the same by the IM; a detailed list of all the changes introduced in the NS, with related accompanying report illustrating their meanings and underlying reasons; e) publication of the final version of the NS X at least four months before the expiry of the deadline for submitting annual capacity requests referring to the X-1/X time table, in compliance with any instructions and indications of the Authority referred to in Article 14, paragraph 1, of legislative decree 112/2015. The name of the NS must therefore be "NS X".
