Recent Highlights Welcome to our first (relaunched) newsletter!
Also in this Issue:
This year has been crazy to say the least, but our recently-appointed executive and sub-committees have been working hard behind the scenes to keep the band going and growing.
The Executive committee has been continuing to meet every month and have some exciting things in the works (read more on page 3).

The biggest (and most exciting) development has come from our marketing and fundraising team, who have instrumented the recent launch of our wine fundraiser. You can find the details just over the page.
The relaunch of the Marching Band is still progressing, with our Marching Band steering committee meeting regularly. Read all about their hard work on page 4, and stay tuned for even more updates!
In other news, band fees are still suspended for Term 4 while we plan for the recommencement of rehearsals.

Wine Time! Celebrate with the band and enjoy some top-notch local wines
Pop the champers, it's our 50th anniversary! To celebrate our many years of merry music-making, performances given, and friendships made, we've put out a limited edition series of wines that are now available to purchase.
With a selection of red, white, and sparkling wines all branded with our signature Boomer, it's a great way to make your next event a little more special. And, with every order made we get a portion of the profits to put towards continuing to share our love of music with the generations to come.
To do this, we've partnered with Prospect Wines. Offering a range of wines from across Australia's major wine regions, we've picked some top choices for our fundraiser.
Fancy some white wine? Take your pick of a sparkling prosecco - featuring a light mix of green pear, apple, and lemon - or 2019 pinot grigio - a dry number with citrus and apple notes - both from sunny Victoria. Or, take a trip to the tropics without leaving home with our zesty South Australian chardonnay that perfectly pairs with your next pasta dish. Starting at $15 a bottle, you'll be able to order by the half

At the committee's most recent meeting on Thursday, November 19, the committee also decided to launch a Marketing sub-committee. This team of marketing savants will be the driving force behind the band's marketing and advertising strategy, so expect some exciting things from them.
