The RGS Today Tuesday 9 June 2020 Issue 465

General Reminders Registration: A continuing reminder for those year groups registering each day: registration is a legal requirement and all students’ attendance will be recorded formally on the school system, as usual, at 8.45am each morning and 1.50pm in the afternoon. Your co-operation in being prompt so that Tutors do not have to waste time chasing up those who have not registered would be very much appreciated. Cameras: As the Headmaster mentioned at yesterday’s assembly, having cameras on during lessons should now become routine as this has a profound impact on your experience in class and your learning. It allows you to see your friends again and the quality of discussion and pace of lesson will also be enhanced. In addition, the teachers want to be able to see you rather than just looking at a blank screen! If you simply cannot find a way to use a webcam do discuss this with your parents and ask them to contact your Tutor to let them know if no solution can be found. Common sense should continue to prevail:please make sure that you are dressed as if for a school mufti day and that the background is appropriate. Thank you. Weekly Challenge 6: Please find this week's challenge below. There is a level that is achievable for everyone – gold, silver and bronze levels – so just have a go (GDGC).
