The RGS Today Wednesday 13 May 2020 Issue 451
General Reminders From the School Nurse: A message from the Virtual Nurse! With the amount of exercise we are allowed being extended I wanted to remind you all to think about safety, particularly if you are exercising alone. I have been told of a few nasty accidents whilst exercising so remember the basics: helmet when cycling, keep hydrated, sun cream if out in the sun and take a way of contacting someone if you are alone. The medical room is still open 'virtually' so although you can't pop in for a plaster you can 'pop in' virtually via Teams chat or email. Well done for keeping active.... stay safe! Young Enterprise: The results of the Young Enterprise Surrey Finals’ Company of the Year have been announced. RGS company Vertex was awarded Best Representation of Teamwork and also the overall winner of Surrey Company of the Year and will proceed to the South East Finals on 8 June. Online Articles: Lower Sixth Form student Omeet Atara has had two articles published online during lockdown entitled British Indians: How the Right is winning their vote and Should the Supreme Court be bound by previous decisions? They are well worth having a look at: https://www.bbench.co.uk/single-post/2020/05/10/British-Indians-How-the-Right-are-Winning-theirVote https://scio.uk/law/should-the-supreme-court-be-bound-by-previous-decisions/
