Consolidation Tasks (First to Fourth Form students): To re-iterate what has previously been communicated and what was re-affirmed by the Headmaster in his assembly address to the School, whilst these are an opportunity for you to demonstrate what you have learnt and to consolidate your knowledge, they are not formal exams and you should not worry about them. We won’t be recording the marks on reports and all we ask is that you try your best. Please ensure you have watched this new short training video on uploading pages to OneNote which will be important for these Consolidation Tasks. If you have any questions, please have a word with your Tutor: https://web.microsoftstream.com/video/326268ba-8976-4da9-b51f-6ef7db96e224 Online Assessments (Lower Sixth Form): A reminder that all members of the Lower Sixth are on Study Leave to prepare for the assessments which start in the week commencing 22 June. You are not required to register with your Tutor this week. Please do not hesitate, however, to contact your Tutor or subject teachers if you have any queries or concerns. The timetable for these assessments was circulated on Monday 8 June to all parents and is attached to this The RGS Today for your reference. Physics Clinic: The Physics Clinics continues online this week. It is open to students in any year group, and takes place at lunch times between 1.15pm and 1.45pm on the following days: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays until 19 June. Please use this link to access the meeting and a Physics teacher should be there to answer any Physics related queries you have (NLO). Mallison Library: All Library loans have been renewed again until the beginning of next term, Friday 4 September. If arrangements are made for leavers to return textbooks at an earlier date, then leavers’ Library books will be returnable at the same time. Thank you for your co-operation (TFF).

Research: Lower Sixth Form students preparing for assessments and working on their ILAs will find the Philip Allan (Hodder Review) magazines useful. We have access to the full archive including the issues for this academic year; there are individual titles for most A-Level subjects. To read these or search the database, go to: https://teamrgs.sharepoint.com/sites/rgs/Academic/Library/SitePages/Digital-Resources.aspx and click on the link. You should be logged in automatically. You are advised to use Chrome as your browser and ensure that Flash is enabled. For a detailed guide to searching, read the user guide, and if you experience any difficulty, contact me (TFF).
