Photography Competition: Many congratulations to all those boys, staff and families who entered this year’s competition and raised over £600 for our local charity, Shooting Star. The list of winners and winning entries will be included in this week’s The RGS Today so look out for some simply stunning pieces of photography. I’ll be in touch with regard to feedback and prizes in the next few days (GES). Young Enterprise: Please join the national finals at 7.00pm on Wednesday 17 June as we celebrate the amazing achievements of the young people taking part in the Company Programme UK Final. Presented by award-winning journalist and TV host Steph McGovern, tune in to watch young people from across the UK – including RGS Young Enterprise company Vertex – receive the recognition they richly deserve. Hosted on Microsoft Teams Live, please register at www.yecompanyfinal.org.uk . It is advisable to register before the event to avoid any technical issues (OLT). We’re All At Home: A reminder that we need people to volunteer just a few minutes of their time to help create the Senior Prefect's music video, "We're All At Home". We need people to either be in a video, to sing or to help with the compilation of the final version, with the only requirement being enthusiasm! If you would like to be involved then please send Christian Moody 8640@rgsg.co.uk a quick email as soon as possible saying what sort of role you would like. I am extremely hopeful that many of you will want to contribute to this exciting project and I am looking forward to seeing what we can create when we work together as a community (Christian Moody on behalf of the Senior Prefects). Weekly Challenge 7: This week's challenge is Get on your bike! This is a really simple challenge for you to cycle as many kilometres as you can this week. Individual winners in each year group and the winner of the combined year group challenge (total number of kilometres covered in each year group competing against each other year group) will be announced next Monday. Just give it a go (GDGC)! Mrs Turnbull’s Leaving Gift: A reminder that Mrs Turnbull is leaving as Head of Lanesborough School after 16 years, 13 of those as Head. She is taking up her exciting new role as Head of Prep, RGS Guildford Dubai in September. A gift is being compiled which contains messages and photographs from current and former Lanesborough students and all those who would like to contribute. Any written message needs to be photographed and uploaded as a jpeg to the link included here. This should be done as soon as possible. Thank you.
