The RGS Today Monday 22 June 2020 Issue 474
General Reminders Online Assessments (Lower Sixth Form): All Lower Sixth Form students are reminded that they should join the pre-assessment briefing meetings in the General channel of the CON teams linked to each subject 10 minutes before the start of the assessment. Morning assessments begin at 9.30am and afternoon assessments begin at 2.00pm so boys should make sure they join the appropriate Teams' meetings at 9.20am and 1.50am. Please arrive promptly for these briefings. Mallison Library: All Library loans have been renewed again until the beginning of next term, Friday 4 September. If arrangements are made for leavers to return textbooks at an earlier date, then leavers’ Library books will be returnable at the same time. Thank you for your co-operation (TFF).
Digital Resource Spotlight Research: Complete Issues enables you to find reliable facts and figures, and a balance of age appropriate opinions on topics of current interest, in areas including Gender, Health, Law, Religion, Sport and Work, with Focus Guides on areas of particular interest, such as Refugees or The NHS. The articles are clearly written and an excellent source of information if you have questions about something that everyone seems to have strong views about, or where you (or your internet filter) are concerned about the suitability of the material that you might find if you researched the subject on the web. To get access from home, you must use the link to Complete Issues on the Digital Resources page: https://teamrgs.sharepoint.com/sites/rgs/Academic/Library/SitePages/Digital-Resources.aspx.
