LaSala has an unblemished conference record since taking over the program. The Bulldogs were 9-0 during the 2012 season as a member of the Midwest Lacrosse Conference. They also went 6-0 in league play during 2013 in the inaugural Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association campaign. The Bulldogs not only captured regular season championships but also tournament titles during the past two seasons. By way of winning those tournaments, Adrian has qualified for the NCAA Division III Tournament. Adrian lost a double-overtime thriller, 12-11, at Denison in 2012, but picked up their first NCAA Tournament victory in 2013 with a 14-11 home win over Otterbein. Last season ended in the second round with a loss at No. 2 Dickinson.

Henry LaSala begins his third season as assistant coach for the men’s lacrosse team. LaSala has been a key part in the team’s success over the past two seasons working with the defense in particular. The Bulldogs ranked second in the MIAA and 69th nationally in scoring defense allowing 8.78 goals per game. The team also showed prominent skills on the offensive side ranking fifth nationally in shot percentage (.362) and 16th in turnovers per game (15.67). Both of those categories also led the conference. LaSala will serve as the top assistant coach for the Bulldogs and was hired in the summer of 2011 to coach defense and be the recruiting coordinator. He coached youth lacrosse in Canton, New York for the past three years and was responsible for player management, scheduling and fundraising. LaSala played four years of lacrosse at SUNY Canton and is a 2007 graduate of Hugh C. Williams High School. He graduated from SUNY Canton in May 2010.

LaSala came to Adrian after a successful stint as assistant coach at Clarkson University in Potsdam, New York. He served as assistant coach beginning in August 2007 and also was the assistant to the associate athletic director starting in August 2010. While at Clarkson, LaSala worked with goalie training and as the team’s offensive coordinator in 2011. Prior to that, he served as the team’s defensive coordinator from 2007-2010. He served as recruiting coordinator and worked with game preparation and scouting as his other primary duties for the NCAA Division III program. LaSala also spent one year stints as assistant coach at Washington & Jefferson College (2006-2007) and The College of Brockport (2005-2006). He also served as assistant women’s lacrosse coach at SUNY Canton (2003-2004).
