COACHING STAFF Scott Morrison Head Coach Northwood (2005) 517-265-5161 x. 5001 smorrison@adrian.edu

Scott Morrison is in his first year at Adrian College and is the fourth head coach in the history of the men’s lacrosse program. Morrison inherits a program that has been a model of consistency since its inception in the 2007-08 season. The Bulldogs have posted a winning record every year including double-digit wins in the last five seasons. The Bulldogs have won five straight conference championships (three in the MLC and two in the MIAA) going 35-0 during regular season play. Adrian has also made four straight trips to the NCAA Division III Tournament including the program’s first win during the 2013 season over Otterbein. “We have had great coaches here in the program’s short history and Scott fits the mold as someone to lead us towards future success,” said athletic director Michael Duffy. “He is someone who relishes the opportunity to advance our program on a national level. Our conference will only get stronger as teams evolve and Scott is familiar with Adrian College in his past experiences. I know the product on and off the field will be excellent.” Morrison’s most recent stop was at Wittenberg University as the assistant coach of the men’s lacrosse team. He helped preach an emphasis on academics as witnessed by team grade point averages at 3.0 during his tenure. Morrison saw the Tigers complete the 2013-14 season with a 10-5 overall record and advance to the North Coast Athletic Conference tournament semifinals. The Tigers had three NCAC AllConference performers and defeated NCAA Tournament participant Aurora 11-10 during the regular season. Morrison also assisted during the 2012-13 season as the Tigers went 8-5 overall.

the program posted a 48-11 overall record with 13 MCLA All-Americans, 37 All-CCLA players and six Academic All-Americans. Morrison took the reins as head coach at the University of Arizona for one season (200809), and served as an assistant men’s lacrosse coach at MIAA member Trine University. The Thunder posted two winning seasons in three years including a 10-4 record in 2010-11. Trine also ranked second in NCAA Division III in goals-against average (5.65).

Matt Hamilton Assistant Coach Adrian College (2013) mhamilton@adrian.edu 517-265-5161 x. 4001

Matt Hamilton enters his first season as assistant coach for men’s lacrosse at Adrian College. He previously was a student assistant in 2014 after his playing career was over for the Bulldogs in 2013. Hamilton appeared in 55 career contests for the Bulldogs on defense. He scored one goal during his junior season and also had three assists. The fouryear letterman scooped up 46 ground balls and ranks tied for seventh in school history with 29 caused turnovers. Hamilton attended Birmingham Brother Rice High School and lettered in lacrosse and football. He played on the 2007 Catholic League Championship football team and the lacrosse team in 2008 that went 28-0 and were State and Catholic League Champions. In addition, the 2008 team was named insidelacrosse.com Midwest and National Champions. Hamilton graduated from Adrian College in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in communications.

After his playing career at NCAA Division II Northwood University, Morrison joined the coaching staff at the University of Michigan as the defensive and recruiting coordinator, helping the team to an undefeated season and the MCLA National Championship in 2008. During his three years at Michigan (2006-2008),
