MONTHLY REPORT (Ref.001) NAME: STEVEN MILLS ELECTED POST: PRESIDENT (Education & Welfare) DATE: 26/03/2014 Update and achievements from previous month COMMUNITY • Invited Callum from Shelter to come to RGU: Union for a drop in session for students. Was very positive and was able to have a stall on University street and then speak to students privately in the office. • Fit For the Future – Got on this committee and met with Val Maela and Gill Barton to discuss some of the projects I am working on. I am now supporting them with the Health & Wellbeing survey and the Fit for the Future project and Fayre taking place on the 3 rd May. • ENGAGEMENT • I supported the RGU: Union Elections. Even though I run (and was elected) for VP Wellbeing & Diversity, as I was working, I supported the promotion of the process and helped all the candidates. • SHAG Week took place from Valentine’s Day (Foreplay Friday) and continued for the whole following week. It was a great event and had lots of publicity. I also went round all the halls and handed out SHAG Packs and wished everyone a happy ‘safe’ valentine’s day. #RGUCondomWelfairy • LGBT+ Week • I Love RGU Week
