Work with President (Communications and Democracy) to organise and run RGU:Media Annual General Meetings. Attended and supported RGU:Radar, RGU:Radio and RGU:TV meetings to encourage student involvement and production of entertainment content for RGU. Work with RGU:RAG to assist in the organisation of a fundraising event to give away Lady Gaga tickets. Produced and created even plan and content, working with RGU:RAG and the RGU Event Society. Attended meetings with class representatives to collect information regarding student experience and areas where student feel further work and support is needed. Attended and supported society forum to identify areas of support needed for society members. Attended a meeting with Transitions project managers to provide feedback and student views with regards to the Transitions theme. Attended Times Higher Education Awards with Paul Greene, Christine Buchanan, James Dunphy and Kirsty Campbell, to represent RGU and RGU:Union on a national level. Attended executive meetings to discuss ideas, projects and developments.

Awareness and Communication §

Promote and update ‘Whats On RGU’ platforms with various events. Ran awareness campaigns to generate hundreds of new followers to support events at RGU. Work with student media to develop entertaining content as well as strengthen training opportunities.

Conduct final push for Fresher’s Week 2014 survey to gain feedback about Freshers Week. Meet with students at forums such as RGU:Media AGMs and societies forums to outline areas of improvement.
