we love our grandparents!
Annual Bishop Kelley Grandparent Day and Grandparent Prom BY: ABBY NAGODE Grandparents day is one of the most enjoyable days for students and their grandparents. On Monday, November 16, students and their grandparents made their way to the commons to dance it out at the annual Grandparent Prom. Grandparent Prom is a great way to start of the celebration of our grandparents. The students get the opportunity to dance and have a good time with their grandparents which is special for both the students and the grandparents. The next day was Grandparent’s day at school. The grandparents came and celebrated Mass with their grandkids
and then got to enjoy some delicious snacks afterwards. Grandparent’s day is a great way for the students to show how much they appreciate and are grateful for their grandparents. Getting to see the students and grandparents interact is the coolest part of the day according to several staff members. Grandparent Prom and Grandparent Day give students a chance to make their love and appreciation known. Grandparents enjoy spending time with teenagers. The students feel grown up for a day and the grandparents feel young again. It’s a win-win.
