The 147th orchestral season in the UK’s premiere concert hall
Pass on your passion for classical music Welcome to the 147th Bradford International Orchestral Concert Season and the 25th Anniversary of Bradford’s Chamber Season. I would like to thank everyone who supported our most recent season; I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. I think you’ll agree that one of the highlights was the Hallé Viennese concert: always a special part of our season but made even more so as we were joined by Yorkshire’s own Lesley Garrett. Lesley Garrett has been a supporter of St George’s Hall for many years and has openly praised the historic venue we have here in Bradford. It is therefore a privilege to announce that Lesley has agreed to be the Patron of our forthcoming season. We still face challenges and I still ask for your assistance to maintain the success of last year. Please continue to be ambassadors and keep spreading the word about the outstanding season of world-class classical music we offer right here in Bradford. I look forward to welcoming you and your friends to the UK’s premiere concert hall. With best regards Adam Renton General Manager Bradford Theatres Bradford Theatres are TMA Award Winners: Most Welcoming Theatre, and White Rose Tourism Award Nominee: Access for All

Having been born and raised in Yorkshire, I have long been aware that Bradford has one of the most outstanding concert halls in the UK. I was therefore delighted when I was asked to become patron of the Bradford International Orchestral concert season. I was very pleased to return to St George’s Hall last season with the Hallé, where I greatly appreciated the tremendously warm welcome I received from the Bradford audience. I very much look forward to joining you again in the future and, as patron of your series, I shall take a great interest in the splendid concerts that are promoted each year in your wonderful concert hall.
