“My life right now is pretty chaotic, but very similar to other seniors at this time. Right now I am deciding where I want to go to college and registering for everything that goes along with that. I have to figure out my plants for the end of high school, such as graduation and different events and activites. Outside of school I have a job. I work at Walmart as a stocker. I mainly work early mornings, weekends, and I occasionally work weekends. Recently I have let go of some of my hobbies because I found I had less time for them and COVID did restrict some of the hobbies I liked doing. I used to play soccer on a team, but there wasn’t much of a season due to the pandemic. For school, I used to do marching band, but since the season got pushed back to spring I do not have enough time to participate with everything else going on. I don’t find myself getting into any new hobbies, but I do keep myself busy with different things. Everyday life for me is simple, I don’t have too many irregularities that happen throughout my day, so for the most part it is the same.”

“After graduation, I plan on attending a four-year university as a sociology major. Right now I am looking at the University of Nevada, Reno, Oregon State, and other state schools in California. I am also hoping to get off of the waitlist for a couple of the UC’s. For sociology, I think I want to go into more research during college, but for a career, I might look at something more in social work or even medical. I would hope to get many opportunities after graduation and to retain and make new personal relationships. I loved the relationships I made in high school.”

“I think I will miss some aspects of high school, like meeting new people and seeing my friends every day but I’m more excited for the future and the new people I’m going to meet in college. One of my favorite memories was when I got thrown into sports media instead of photo and I don’t know a lot about sports. It ended up being one of my favorite classes because of the people in it and I got to experience being on the sidelines of most sporting events because I had to take pictures.”
