Dear Parent / Carer END OF YEAR VISIT TO BLACKPOOL PLEASURE BEACH The Year Leader for Year 7 is arranging a trip for students on Monday 17th July 2017. The cost of the trip is ÂŁ20.00 for entrance and transport fees. We will be travelling by coach, leaving school at 8.15 am prompt and returning at approximately 4:00pm. Pupils are requested to wear suitable clothing and bring a packed lunch or money in order to purchase lunch and refreshments. Each student will be issued with a coloured wristband and will not be permitted to leave the park unless accompanied by a member of staff so it is a very secure environment for the students. For emergencies during the visit please contact the school on the main number. If you have recently changed your land line/mobile telephone number, please inform the school immediately. You will be aware that the school holds medical information on your child so please contact the school prior to the visit if there has been any recent illness of which we should be aware. The trip is covered by Lancashire County Council public liability insurance but there is no personal accident insurance for your child. If you feel that this is necessary, you will need to make separate arrangements. You are reminded that the school has a code of conduct for behaviour and a high standard of behaviour and attendance is vital if your child is to participate in this trip. Please complete the attached permission slip for your child. Completed forms and full payment should be returned to the relevant Year Leaders immediately as places are limited to a first come, first served basis. Please be aware that the tickets and transport are paid for in advance therefore if your child is later denied a place or is unable to attend we will not be able to refund the costs. Yours sincerely,
Mr M Breckell Year 7 Leader
