Dear Parents/Guardians Re: Cefn Lea Camp – Summer 2012

We will be meeting on Monday 2nd July at 9.00am at the back car park (coach car park) of Oswaldtwistle Mills, and aim to return for no later than 3.00pm on Friday 6th July at the same place. We meet at the back car park of Oswaldtwistle Mills because there is more space, however, your child can arrive at Rhyddings and they will then be escorted over to the centre by a member of staff. We will be travelling to Cefn Lea by coach and stopping on the way so can you please ensure your child has a packed lunch or money to buy lunch. We hope to arrive at the site around 2.00pm. We are really looking forward to camp this year and have an action packed week planned. Most of the activities require casual clothing which is practical and inexpensive. They will also need clothes and footwear that will get wet. The cabins have their own kitchens and basic cooking utensils. For more information about the facilities take a look at the website: www.cefnlea.co.uk

Code of Conduct

1. The decisions and instructions of staff must be entirely respected and followed at all times. 2. Smoking is not permitted at any time. 3. Consumption of alcohol is not permitted. 4. Drug taking, unless for medical reasons, is not permitted. 5. Single sex sleeping arrangements must be adhered to. 6. It is in the interest of your child’s health & safety that the above code of conduct is respected. In the event of a serious behavioural incident, it is possible that we may feel it necessary to send a child home or implement other appropriate sanctions. In the event of a child being sent home, parents/guardians will be wholly responsible for the financial implications.

In signing this contract you are agreeing that you child fully understands and respects the conditions and expectations stated above.
