North and East Block buildings
After extensive investigations into our East and North block buildings it has been agreed by Lancashire County Council (LCC) that they will be demolished to make way for new build accommodation. The demolition process is complex due to their location and we are working closely with LCC to ensure that pupil, staff and visitor safety is at the forefront whilst these works are undertaken. Plans are currently being developed to manage the project, which is scheduled to take place over a 15 week period. LCC have issued notification of the proposed demolition project but are working in conjunction with school to ensure disruption is minimised and well managed. At this stage there is no further information but as the detail becomes available I will write regular updates and keep you fully informed. Yours sincerely,
