Dear Parent/ Guardian Your son/daughter has been invited to Oswaldtwistle Library on 20th June 2012 during their English lesson (1.30-2.30). The prestigious author Keris Stainton, who has a book on this year’s ‘Lancashire Book of the Year’ long list, will be visiting. She will be giving a talk about her novels and life as a writer, as well answering questions. It is a very exciting opportunity and one which I hope your child will take advantage of. Due to the limited number we can take, places will be allocated on a first come first served basis. There is no cost to the trip, and students will be walking to the library which will take approximately 10 minutes. They will be accompanied by at least two members of staff. To secure your child’s place please complete the attached medical form and return to Miss Barber by 14th May.
