In 2017 the photographer Ludovic-Marc ANTOINE, founder and owner of Riad Monceau in Marrakech, imported the concept of “rooftops” to Morocco, a country where, until then, access to roof terraces was reserved for women who came to extend the laundry and chatting with neighbors.
The success was immediate and the creation of La Pergola marked the beginning of a phenomenon which has continued to grow ever since. The rooftops are opening one after the other - Kabana, Dar Dar, Nobu - suggesting that Marrakech could well establish itself as the world capital of the genre over the coming decade.
Often copied, rarely equaled, La Pergola still remains today the most popular rooftop in the ocher city, if not the most media-friendly. In accordance with the adage "To live happily, live hidden", this relative discretion allows us to cultivate the fundamentals of our professionquality of the food, of the welcome - rather than chasing appearances and the ephemeral. And it bears fruit, the gures speaking for themselves: 500 guests per evening, nearly 13,000 reviews on Google with an average rating of 4.9/5... La Pergola welcomes you every day from noon to midnight (doors close and music ends at 11 p.m.; last customers leave at midnight).
Live concerts take place from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. The group is located on the ground floor of the riad, at the restaurant Le Bistro Arabe. The concerts are broadcast on the rooftop via a sound system and screens.
In the evening, we offer 2 services of 2 hours each. The 1st starts at 7:00 p.m., the second at 9:15 p.m. It is possible to organize an event for a single service or for the entire evening.
The Pergola is made up of multiple spaces, each with its own style and atmosphere. This is one of the characteristics that give the establishment its charm, as well as the omnipresent greenery, which earned it its nickname “Jungle”.
The different spaces can be brought together and privatized to offer a capacity perfectly suited to the size of your group.
