Drink up the colourful history at the renowned Canadian Club Brand Centre. Majestically perched on the shore of the Detroit River, this iconic landmark played a key role during the wild days of Prohibition and rumrunning. Step back in time with a tour through this legendary spot, including the basement “Speakeasy Room” where Al Capone used to sit at the table and take care of business. “Working with the City of Windsor and Tourism Windsor Essex Pelee Island (TWEPI) on the FINA World Swimming Championships and World Aquatics Convention has been a very positive eyeopener for both myself, as Executive Director, and the International Swimming Federation (FINA). I have worked with cities and tourism offices in Manchester UK, Dubai UAE and Istanbul, Turkey and I have to say the spirit of cooperation and level of passion that this community harnesses to assist with the planning and overall execution of any sporting event/convention is tremendous. Windsor is a city with sport in its blood and a real commitment to hospitality and sport tourism. RACHEL CONNELL DIRECTOR OF MEMBERSHIP & EVENTS NORTH AMERICAN STRATEGY FOR COMPETITIVENESS (NASCO)

Many thanks to those who attended our 2015 NASCO Continental Reunion. It was an AMAZING week at North America’s busiest border crossing in Windsor! From the tours of North America’s largest greenhouse operation, to the Port of Windsor, to the Fiat Chrysler R&D Centre, to hard hitting supply chain, energy and border sessions and keynotes at Caesars, to an amazing welcome reception overlooking the Detroit River, to fantastic breakout sessions, to the coolest evening of tours, and whiskey tastings with the remarkable Brand Manager Tish Harcus at the historic Canadian Club Brand Centre….it was first class all the way. Windsor knocked this event out of the park!
