You see your weight fluctuate enough that you already feel like an accordion. This could probably be the worst thing you can ever do to your body. So, make the resolution to start living healthy right this very moment. Before you even pick the perfect workout, you need to determine your ideal body weight and size. You will be carrying a lot of numbers in your head, but that’s all part of what you need to do. You need to know your exact weight and see how far you are from your ideal. If you can achieve it, you need to stay there and that’s where exercise comes in. If you do this, you’ll be so much happier because being at this magical number, you can do practically anything you want. That is, of course, if you do it right.
While you’re working on your body, you need to keep in mind the things you need to eat. Include a lot of greens into your meals. Incorporating fruits and vegetables does a lot when you need to cleanse your body from all unwanted toxins. Then, you need to consider your bone structure as well. When people say that you’re big-boned, you don’t need to always take this as an insult. Having a large frame means that you can be ten pounds beyond the typical weight of a person of your height. Of course, you also need to think about your overall body fat. Being between 20 to 30 percent is what most people consider healthy. You can get the estimation from the gym or from your nutritionist. And as soon as you have the numbers, you can ask your dietician what you can do.
You also need to look at your belly. If you’re heavy around this area, you may be prone to heart problems in the future. After you go out for a run, you need to invest in weights as well so you

can work your entire body, particularly the areas where you need most help in. Losing weight may be the easiest part. It’s the toning that you’ll need to concentrate on the most. Make sure to get the daily exercise especially when you’re way beyond your ideal weight. You might have to set aside time every day of the week. And as soon as you get your heart rate up, you also can take a few minutes of rest in between. This means that if you’re running, try to do some walking in between. You don’t need to push yourself too hard. What’s important here is that you use up your time wisely.
If running isn’t your thing, you may want to think about pool exercises. You won’t feel all hot and sweaty but at the same time, you’re still giving your body what it most needs. You may even feel hungrier if you exercise a lot, but don’t feel guilty as long as you snack on something healthy. Again, start slow and work your way up when you know you’re ready to take in more. Remember, slow and steady wins the race.
