Here at home in Canton, Ohio, Ali Residential Services stands as a beacon of warmth and care, dedicated to fostering ‘individual enrichment’ in various forms. As a non-profit organization, their vision, born in 2004, has blossomed into a haven for approximately 44 clients, a testament to their commitment to being a timely response to an underserved segment of society in Northeast Ohio.

A VISION OF ENRICHMENT

Julie Ali and Cleo Lucas, the driving forces behind Ali Residential Services, envisioned a place where quality services go hand in hand with compassion. Their organizational cause, deeply rooted in becoming more visible and accessible, has become a guiding light for those in need. In a post-pandemic world, their integrated treatment plans have proven effective, offering a compassionate alternative to traditional nursing home care. Looking ahead to 2024 and beyond, Ali Residential Services aims to extend their reach, becoming an even more comprehensive healthcare facility with Personal Care staff, RNs, LPNs, and Home Health Aides.

AN INCLUSIVE APPROACH TO CARE

Ali Residential Services extends a lifeline to the senior community, the mental health community, and the home health aide community. Using avenues like Medicaid, Medicare, and private insurance, they enhance the lives of non-institutionalized individuals, citizens with disabilities, and those in need of mental health assessments. The organization firmly believes that quality of life does not diminish with age, and this belief fuels its mission to provide a well-rounded experience in healthy, safe, and happy living.

At the core of their approach is effective communication with individuals and their families. Tailoring treatment plans to individual needs, Ali Residential Services strives to create an environment conducive to sustained health and happiness. “Primarily, we initiate a system of communication with the individuals (themselves) and/or their family members - as to the most effective way to begin treatment plan and garner an in-depth lifestyle understanding that is most adequate, comfortable, or conducive to the sustained health of our clients,” says Douglas Hill and John Lucas, Jr. “We are always seeking new avenues to offer a well-rounded experience in healthy, safety, and happy living. We DO NOT believe that quality of life diminishes with age. It is for these reasons and more that we believe we are a highly sought after ‘friend of the family’. We believe that one of life’s greatest pleasures and satisfactions is found in giving and being of service to those who need it most.”
