Patriot Camp Family Guide
Dear Families & Summer Program Participants,
I am thrilled about Summer 2024! On behalf of the Summer Team and myself, we are beyond excited to have your child join us this summer!
Here at RA/LP's Summer Program, we encourage and guide children to become their best and authentic selves by allowing them to step out of their comfort zone, try new activities, discover new friendships, and create warm memories while developing confidence, in a safe, exciting, and FUN environment!
This Parent Guide is a great resource to answer your questions and give insight into your child's upcoming summer experience at RA/LP.
We look forward to a summer full of adventure, opportunity, creativity, laughs, and sunshine!

A summer of fun awaits!
A Day At Patriot Camp!
Each week there will be many exciting activities centered around our weekly themes. Daily activities include a water slide plunge and sprinkler use, gymnasium and outdoor fun, themerelated crafts, and much more! Throughout the day, groups will rotate to various program areas.
PATRIOT CAMP WEEKLY THEMES
Week 1: June 17-21
(Closed Wednesday, June 19)
Week 2: June 24 - 28
Week 3: July 1 - 3
(Closed July 4 & 5)
Week 4: July 8-12
Week 5: July 15-19

Daily Packing List
Small bag/backpack
Please pack your camper ' s lunch, snacks, and water bottle in a small bag or backpack.
Lunch
Please pack a lunch, in a lunch box, for your child each day
Ridgefield Academy is a NUT-AWARE campus. Food containing nuts is prohibited. Please do not pack any items that have nuts!
Bathing Suit & Towel
Please do not bring the following items to Patriot Camp:
Cell phones, iPads, AirPods, and all other electronics. Items containing nuts. We are a NUT-AWARE campus.
A bathing suit and towel are necessary for our waterslide activities
Shoes
Closed-toed and water-resistant shoes for the water slide (crocs, water shoes, etc.)
Please apply sunscreen at home before arriving at camp
Camp will run Rain or Shine! Dress for the weather!
Ridgefield Academy/Landmark Preschool is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Daily Drop Off & Pick Up
Drop off time: 9:00 am
Pick-Up Time: 3:30 pm
Camper drop off and pick up is at the Summit Gymnasium
Staff members will be outside to greet your children and walk them to their destination.
Late Arrival and Early Pick Up
If a camper must leave early, please notify the Summer Program Director or Summer Program Staff ahead of time. The Early Pick Up location is the Summit Building entrance.
Extended Care
Before-Care Drop Off Time: 8:00 am
Patriot Camp Before-Care Drop-Off Location: Summit Gymnasium
Patriot Camp After-Care Pick-Up Time: No Later Than 5:00 pm
After-Care Pick-Up Location: Summit Building Entrance
*UNLESS PRE-REGISTERED FOR BEFORE & AFTER-CARE, TO SIGN UP FOR THIS PROGRAM, PARENTS MUST CONTACT THE SUMMER PROGRAM DIRECTOR IN ADVANCE. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO USE THIS PROGRAM ON OCCASION, WE OFFER A DAILY RATE.
MAGNUS HEALTH
Magnus Health
You can access Magnus Health through the Summer Program Portal.
To have a complete record in Magnus Health, your camper should have the following items submitted:
Conditional Questions
Vital Health Record
CT- Health Assessment Record (uploaded to the system)
Immunization Record
Medication Authorization Form
Please complete your camper ' s Magnus Health profile by June 13.

Summer Program Registration Policies
Registration
Summer Program session fees must be paid in full upon registration. Fees for Extended Care Program (Before Care/After Care, if available) are due before the start of summer programming.
Refunds
Refunds will only be granted if a child is out sick for 3 or more days and submits a note from a physician. Refunds are pro-rated for the portion of the program your child has attended. In the event of program changes and/or cancellations, partial refunds will be determined on a pro-rata basis.
Withdrawals
If you find you must withdraw your child before the start of camp season, RA/LP has the following refund policies:
