New Christmas tradition on Swedish TV The Swedish national television channel SVT wants to continue creating shared TV traditions and is producing 'Christmas with Astrid Lindgren,' an hour of stories based on the stories of Astrid Lindgren. Starting from Christmas Eve 2023, the audience will encounter colorful characters and magical worlds. Newly produced animations will be mixed with classic film clips. Read more here.

New exhibition in spring 2024 The Gothenburg Museum of Art in Sweden has announced that a new Ilon Wikland exhibition will open in spring 2024 – “Ilon Wiklands bildvärldar. Saga, äventyr och vardagsliv”. Roughly 400 original works will be displayed in a playful environment that encourages children’s exploration. The exhibition will be open from 25 May 2024 to 12 January 2025. Read more here.
