Te two unique characters Mamma Moo and Crow debuted on children’s radio in 1985. Te author Jujja Wieslander has in collaboration with the illustrator Sven Nordqvist published the stories since 1991.
Mamma Moo and Crow are two strong characters with minds of their own. Together, they go on mischievous adventures, celebrating their unusual and eternal friendship.

Jujja Wieslander
Jujja Wieslander was born 12th of June 1944 in Stockholm. She is a Swedish children’s book author and a member of Te Swedish Academy for Children’s Books. She’s best known for her books about Mamma Moo and Crow, illustrated by Sven Nordqvist.
Te most important thing for Jujja when creating is the passion for children’s playfulness and language. With the help of her characters, she portrays this joyous way of learning.

New book to be published in 2024!
A new book about Mamma Moo and Crow will come out on the Swedish market in January 2024. Mamma Mu Blir Ledsen, ”Mamma Moo Gets Sad” is a warm story of friendship and reconciliation. Te main target group is 3-6 year olds.
