Te two unique characters Mamma Moo and Crow debuted on children’s radio in 1985. Te author Jujja Wieslander has in collaboration with the illustrator Sven Nordqvist published the stories since 1991.
Mamma Moo and Crow are two strong characters with minds of their own. Together, they go on mischievous adventures, celebrating their unusual and eternal friendship.

Jujja Wieslander
Jujja Wieslander was born 12th of June 1944 in Stockholm. She is a Swedish children’s book author and a member of Te Swedish Academy for Children’s Books. She’s best known for her books about Mamma Moo and Crow, illustrated by Sven Nordqvist.
Te most important thing for Jujja when creating is the passion for children’s playfulness and language. With the help of her characters, she portrays this joyous way of learning.

Mamma Moo Celebrates 40 years!
New book!
Mamma Moo celebrates 40 years in 2025, with a new book releasing in the spring - ”Kråkans Kläder”.
Events
Tere will be events like Bokmässan in Sweden, contests, activities for pre-schools, and meet and greets throughout the jubilee year.
Lässtegen
Lässtegen is an initiative to encourage story-times at preschools in Sweden. Te goal is to have at least 50 sessions of story-telling with the children, and the pre-schools that reach the goals are eligible for prizes. Mamma Moo will be a part of the initiative during 2025.

Tis game has fun puzzles for the youngest children, where they get to practice their fine motor skills, learn leters, play hide-and-seek with the Crow, and more! Te game includes original drawings by Sven Nordqvist, and the voices are provided by Jujja Wieslander and Anders Ågren.

Movement should be fun and accessible, that has been Friskis&Svetis’ core message for over 40 years. During the same amount of time, Mamma Moo and Crow have encouraged children to find their joy of movement in an early age through songs, books and films.
