Family and MWR Employees of the Month
KAYLEE O’CONNER September Employee of the Month Kaylee O’Conner is truly an employee that deserves to be recognized for her level of dedication to not only MWR but more importantly to our Soldiers. She has served plated dinners at Riley’s Conference Center, whipped through lunch at Outdoor Recreation and rocked it at Warrior Zone. Every day she comes to work with a smile on her face that lights up the building. Her spunky and fun attitude has become contagious to not only co-workers, but also to the service members she interacts with. Her level of energy, hard work ethic, and exceptional customer service is completely changing the environment of the bowling center!

EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT
SPOTLIGHT ON ...
ANN ANDERSON November Employee of the Month Ann Anderson was called upon to lead the Arts and Crafts program in a renovation of its internal controls, processes, efficiencies and aesthetic quality. With very basic guidance from her leadership and zero experience working in Arts and Crafts, Ann led her small team to a complete transformation of the Arts and Crafts program by the end of November. Her diligent efforts, along with assistance from her MWR and Garrison teammates, led to a much more aesthetically pleasing environment, better processes to improve customer service, greater efficiencies to lead the way for increased revenue, and a safer workplace.

If you are providing child care in your on-post housing, become Family Child Care certified ... it’s the right thing to do and required! By Army regulation, anyone caring for children in their government quarters on a regular basis must become FCC providers. Caregivers must be Army certified before caring for children; providing unauthorized child care in your government quarters can jeopardize your eligibility for housing. Child care providers accepted into the FCC program receive free training and CYS support. Learn more about becoming a Family Child Care provider by attending one of the weekly FCC orientation sessions, or by calling Parent Central at (785) 239-9885.
