A Word from the EditorWelcome to Rin’s World. This newsletter is just a form of communication to those who like doing the same things as me, such as, watching anime, Korean dramas, listening to K-pop or Jpop and so on.

I decided to create a newsletter because I like graphic design and creating newsletters is a form of graphic design that I love. I will be featuring articles from various online sources of K-pop groups, Korean Actors and Actresses, Korean Dramas, Anime, Manga and so on in this newsletter that I like or look forward to seeing. I will also include things from the U.S. as well but not so much. Even though I am a creating a newsletter I will be featuring some of the graphics I’ve created and hope to feature graphics and art from other designers as well. So I hope you enjoy this newsletter. Plot Summary: A year before the battle of Sekigahara that ended the Sengoku Period, the ninja Saizou Kirigakure meets the miko Nami Isa as she's attacked by assassins. Her shrine was destroyed by Tokugawa Ieyasu for siding with Yukimura Sanada. Meanwhile, Sanada has been gathering ten warriors known as Sanada's Brave 10, who have the power to change history. As they gather one by one, Nami's own mysterious power awakens.

Plot Summary: Tetsunosuke Ichimura has always been upset about his short stature. After he sees his parents being murdered by a Choushuu assassin right in front of him, he vows with all his heart to become strong enough to take revenge on their killer. It is now 1864, the first year of Genji. Tetsunosuke, now 15, heads to the headquarters of the Shinsengumi with his older brother Tatsunosuke, looking to join the historical group to fulfill his dreams of getting stronger. Little does he realize what he is about to experience by doing so, for in order to join this army, one must forego his humanity and become a demon.

Plot Summary: Mugen is a fierce animal-like warrior with a unique Bboying (break-dance) inspired fighting style. Jin has a more traditional style but don’t think of this as a weakness because his skills are amazing. The two contrasting samurai warriors are far from friends, yet their separate paths seem to cross anyways. Mugen is wandering aimlessly through the city when he stumbles upon a teahouse where he meets Jin and Fuu (A ditzy waitress, but don‘t think she doesn‘t have anything hidden up her sleeves). Fuu convinces them both to come with her in search of a mysterious samurai that smells like sunflowers and their journey begins. This modernized hip-hop tale breaks the barriers of the common, historical, samurai anime.

Plot Summary: In the bloody Warring States period of feudal Japan, many generals fought in an endless struggle for power, but one man proved to be too big a threat - The dark lord Oda Nobunaga. Sanada Yukimura and Date Masamune, two young warriors from different regions who become heated rivals, begin to form an unlikely alliance with the rest of the generals to take down the Devil King.

The competition is fierce for the middle schoolers in the National Tennis Competition. 50 representatives are chosen from them, and this time they'll challenge high schoolers!! This time the stage is U-17 (Under 17), a training camp that gathers Japan's middle school representatives together to raise them into top tennis players. Led by the winners of the national competition, Seishun Gakuen, Hyotei, Rikkai, and Shitenhoji, gathered together. With all of their rivals from the national tournament, fighting spirits are high as they set out to face each other again. At first these middle schoolers show no difficulty in facing the high schoolers. But this training camp won't be that simple. Before them stood athletes better than any they had ever faced before, together with a mysterious coach. Will the middle schoolers be able to survive as they're driven to the edge by rigorous trials in this training camp where ability means everything? A new chapter of "Prince of Tennis" starts here! The CEO asks Kang Cheolseung, who is called 'Hand of Midas' in entertainment industry, for help. As a solution, Kang Cheolseung proposes to hold an audition offering a billion won to the winner and the guaranteed admission to the participants who pass the preliminary. Many came to see the audition. Pretty boy, Ku Haesung, is here to find his father! Armed with confidence, Jang Boa is ready to take judges' spiteful remarks and achieve her dream as an idol star! Ko Shiwon is more concerned about his outfit than his singing on stage. He seems vain but actually innocent inside. Shin Nara came for an audition blinded by her love for Shiwon.
