Hello Everyone. No worksheets just yet. Now it’s time to introduce some online resources that will help you to learn Korean on your own through the use of video or interactive programs online. Seemile and Busy Atom utilize people in their videos to give you a connection with a teacher. The rest of the resources are all interactive either using video, worksheets, forms, audio, etc. to help you practice reading, writing and listening in Korean. I would use them in the order listed. But it really doesn’t matter since they all start at a beginner’s level. If you click on the pictures you will be directed to their websites.

Welcome to Eat Your Kimchi, the most awesome couple in South Korea that blogs about South Korea. Shame on you if you don’t know who they are, because you should. They are Simon and Martina, the cool couple living in South Korea that review Korean Music and travel around South Korea to give insights on Korea that show their love of this country.
Simon and Martina have been blogging about South Korea for over five years. They have gained a somewhat celebrity status since the popularity of Korean pop has risen in recent years. And in June 2012 were invited by Google to attend the Kpop concert given in Mountain View, California. Not only were they invited to attend the concert but to also interview some of the Kpop Idols that performed. In this issue I will share some entries from their site about these interviews in which you can read on the next few pages. If you haven’t already you can view their live interviews and read their full blogs in the links provided. Thanks for reading Rin’s World. Enjoy!

So, let’s just say how happy we were to do this interview. Not just because we were able to sit down with one of the most famous, most influential Kpop bands in the universe (though that IS hella awesome). We were just really happy during the interview because the Wonder Girls are so level headed and fun and easy going, and by no means as inflated as they should be. Seriously: THEY’RE THE WONDER GIRLS! They should be like “PFFFT Go Away!” in their best Snape voice, but they didn’t have a drop of arrogance to them. They laughed with us, were giggling with each other at our cheesy jokes, and were able to speak with openly and casually. They made us feel so comfortable, and had such a warm sincerity about them that gave the interview a really relaxed vibe to it. We had a great time with them. Wonder Girls, if you’re reading this, thanks! Credit: Eat Your Kimchi Source: http://www.eatyourkimchi.com/our-interview-with-the-wonder-girls/
