Ripon College Graphic Standards Usage and Style Guide
ABOUT RIPON Ripon College is a liberal arts and sciences college located in the small city of Ripon, Wisconsin. Founded in 1851, Ripon is a blend of tradition and innovation. Small-group seminars are held in beautiful century-old buildings with windows that look across our lovely tree-shaded campus—and the college also offers computer-equipped classrooms, modern laboratories, a beautiful flexible-space theater, and excellent athletic facilities. Our students, numbering about 1,100, come from most of the states and from countries around the world. We offer a wide variety of residences, from traditional residence halls to apartment-style living, and more than 90% of our students choose to live on campus. Ripon students participate in more than 70 campus organizations, and they compete in 23 varsity sports. They study off-campus, too, taking part in research programs, internships, and study abroad. Ripon is a true community of scholars where students and faculty collaborate for the success of all.
ABOUT THIS GUIDE Ripon College is visually represented by a series of closely related logos including institutional and athletic trademarks. The sum of these marks comprise the Ripon College brand identity. This guide is intended as a resource for both internal departments and external vendors who apply any of the college’s logos. It was created to ensure consistent use of the institution’s logos across a wide variety of applications. The following pages are official policy of Ripon College as it pertains to the reproduction of its brand identity. All logos and artwork depicted within this guide are trademarks of Ripon College.
