Students need to select 1 course from each of Groups 1-5 AND either a subject from Group 6 OR a second subject from Groups 2-4
Students need to select 3 courses at Higher Level (HL) and 3 courses at Standard Level (SL) to be a full Diploma candidate Final HL course approval is dependent on achieving a 5 in the appropriate MYP course (or equivalent)
Placement in Mathematics classes is based on the student’s achievement in MYP Criteria A and the teacher’s recommendation For new students, placement will be based on current school reports and the outcome of the admissions assessment
Placement in Physics is dependent on achieving a 5 in MYP Mathematics (or equivalent)
Environmental Systems and Societies is a trans-disciplinary subject, it can only be chosen in 1 group
Self-taught Language A is allowed only by approval of the Diploma Coordinator
Final course offerings will depend on sufficient enrolment
Due to timetabling, not all course combinations will be possible
