PROJECT UPDATE WITH Iain Colledge Executive Principal
The progress of the new campus is remarkable! We have had a few minor setbacks along the way, but as it stands the building is due to be fully completed and handed over in August, allowing plenty of time to get all the spaces ready for outstanding teaching and learning at the start of the new school year. We are so impressed with the project team and all the contractors, who have worked to deliver such an exciting project during such difficult times. We also received permission to begin the groundworks on Phase 2 and this means that the noisy and dusty element of the second phase will be completed before the children start in the Phase 1 building. I drove past the new campus a few days ago and it looks stunning. You can see internal walls going in and the entrance is coming into shape. I have also seen pictures of one fully finished classroom, which is being used as a mock-up, with toilets, windows in place, painted walls etc. It’s all very exciting!
