message from the president Dear AIESEC Alumni, It is a great honor to write this message sharing the collective passion and pride of my Core committee members who dream to host AIESEC Alumni International Meet' 2015 and this dream comes from the simple but outstanding fact that our country represents the diverse and ideal environment for an organization of this nature. By hosting AIESEC Alumni International Meet in India, AIESEC is once again a step ahead of its time, helping our country to become more connected to the world. Being on the Core committee team, means to make this dream come true to allow alumni from 126 different countries to come together and re connect with each other. This amazing conference is the physical representation of our Mission "INDIANESS" and it also is this wonderful moment in which we get to see hundreds of leaders and the true IMPACT of AIESEC coming home. Apart from providing you with a beautiful experience, we also aim to make your AIESEC journey come alive. It gives us a chance to bring back to you all the memories you shared with this organization. India will be much more than a conference and will leave a mark in the history of this conference, that’s our promise! With this, we are ready to welcome you home! about india Welcome to India! Get ready to experience one of the most diverse, exciting and beautiful countries till date. The Indian phenomenon is something of a myriad composition of art, literature, architecture, spirituality, and food blended in a mix of diversity and tradition and refined through the 4500 odd years since civilization is known to have begun on this subcontinent. India is the Destination of the Millennium, a Land of All Seasons where beauty beckons, culture echoes, diversity delights and tradition talks. Those who reach India are greeted with a gracious Namaste, Namaskaaram, Vanakkam or SatSriAkal denoting warmth, hospitality and respect – a tradition in tune with the country’s age-old motto “Athithi Devo Bhava” where the guest is treated as God. We hope at this conference, you truly Discover India!

about delhi Delhi is a city that bridges two different worlds. Old Delhi, once the capital of Islamic India, is a labyrinth of narrow lanes lined with crumbling havelis and formidable mosques. In contrast, the imperial city of New Delhi created by the British Raj is composed of spacious, tree-lined avenues and imposing government buildings. The city's importance lies not just in its past glory as the seat of empires and magnificent monuments, but also in the rich and diverse cultures. In Delhi, you will discover that the city is sprinkled with dazzling gems: captivating ancient monuments, fascinating museums and art galleries, architectural wonders, a vivacious performing-arts scene, fabulous eating places and bustling markets.
