Sits on 100 mm compacted class ‘a’ rock over compacted clay 18a. expansion joints - saw cut induced crack allow contraction while concrete curing and thermal expansion once cured. Saw cut after 48 hrs of the concrete pour. SEALANT APPLIED TO JOINT GAPS FOR WATER PROOFING.
