William Platt’s plans for the redesign of the Sunken Gardens on the South axis. This was now to be referred to as the Spanish Gardens. Platt based his ideas on his experience visiting the Calat Alhambra gardens in Granada, Andalusia, Spain. The sketches are dated November 1964.
