“METAVERSE INNOVATION, BORDERLESS CIVILIZATION”
International Innovation Conference of Metaverse 2022(IICM 2022) Concludes with Great Success
As a new concept, the Metaverse is attracting worldwide attention and has become the focus of this year's international events and topics, but can the Metaverse make profit? Is the Metaverse same as the digitalization? What is the social significance of building the Metaverse? What are the opportunities for international cooperation in the Metaverse?
Organized by Shanghai Information Service Outsourcing Development Center with Software Offshore Business Union of Shanghai, Shanghai AI Association, UNESCO World Misss University, Solomon Digital Bureau, Malaysia SWT as organizing partner and supported by Solomon Central Provincial Government, Malaysia Foreign Trade Development Agency, Metaverse Sunday Market, STEM City USA, Matin Digital Technology Group and 51WORLD, the International Innovation Conference of Metaverse 2022 was successfully held at Shanghai Jinqiao Industry Exhibition Center on September 15.
A number of influential scholars, representatives from public service organizations, entrepreneurs, unicorn representatives and government officials engaged in in depth discussions and exchanged views on Metaverse Technology Innovation and International Business Cooperation. Over 150 participants joined the conference in person and about 1 million views through live streaming.
The conference has set up branch venues in Malaysia and South Korea as well as the Metaverse virtual venue, where international guests can participate online or in the Metaverse.
On behalf of UNESCO World Miss University, director, Mr. Feng Yongqiang said World Miss University hopes to use the Metaverse technology and the mode of DAO organization to promote online learning in transnational universities, support the establishment and development of universities in developing regions, provide online interdisciplinary immersive experience teaching, and provide Metaverse scholarships to make learning free and education opportunities more equal
Both the Governor of Solomon Central Province Hon.Stanley Manetiva and Chairman of Malaysia Labuan International Business and Financial Center, Datuk Iskanda Mohd Nuli expressed the regions are developing Digital Economy and Metaverse applications, looking forwarding to working closely with Chinese technology experts.
Mr. Tian yao, The Metaverse director of China Association for the Promotion of International Science and Technology, said Chinese government is supporting the Chinese Metaverse technology to develop and become the popular public product to service people all around the world.

On the ceremony, representatives from Shanghai Information Service Outsourcing Development Center, Shanghai Standardization Association, Shanghai AI Association, Shanghai Photoelectron Association, UNESCO World Miss University, Solomon Central Province Government, SCO Industrialist Committee and Wailian Group launched the initiative of International Metaverse Innovation Union on the principle of jointly building an international sustainable Metaverse cooperative ecology featuring green, low carbon, fair education, good science and technology, mutual trust and practical cooperation
The representatives from Liwei, Laisro, Space AD(Korean), Malaysia Foreign Trade Development Agency, Solomon Central Province Government, Lumaotong Group signed for the Metaverse technology cooperation online in Metaverse conference room with Avatars.
The President of SenseTime Intelligent Research Institute showed how the Metaverse technology to revive the ancient Chinese Temple and brought everyone into the virtual world of Chinese painting.
Mr. Tyrone Tabone, the Founder of STEM City USA and the winner of Public Service Award of NSB said, VR,AR,XR are not Metaverse, those are tools, he focused on how the creative and trusted community help people from all over the world to coordinate and get their best ROI base on Web Metaverse.
As the Professor of University of Lisbon, the co founder of PLUX, Mr. Hugo Plácidoda Silva gave a video speech on the foreword technology of biological perception and feedback and deeply analyzed how the biological factors such as heartbeat, pupil, muscle and emotion are perceived by the Metaverse and applied in the digital mirror.

Mr. Wang Zhe from Lieju Tech showed a new kind of digital programmable avatar for commercial use.
On the panel discussion, Mr.Hua Chunpeng from Shanghai Brand Funds, Mr. Yanglin From China Recommendation IP, Mr. Huang Xiwu from Shanghai Animation Public Platform and Mr. Zhou Xuefeng from China Construction Research Institute talked about how the Metaverse virtual technology are adopted in culture, tourism, brand and IP areas.
IICM 2022 integrates the international Metaverse frontier concept, implements the Metaverse scenario of international cooperation, explores the international Metaverse technology cooperation, and builds the international service platform of the Metaverse, providing a guide and mechanism for the innovation, compliance, and pragmatic development of the Metaverse industry.
