Black Engineer of the Year Virtual Career Fair Were you able to meet all your recruitment needs at the 33rd BEYA STEM Conference? No worries, you have a second chance at attracting thousands of students and professionals on Wednesday, March 20 at the BEYA Virtual Career Fair.

What is a virtual career fair? A virtual career fair is an online event where your recruiters will meet our job seekers using chat rooms and teleconferencing. You will have the ability to collect resumes, meet students, and conduct live interviews.

What are the advantages of the BEYA Virtual Career Fair? All BEYA attendees and selected employers are offered this one-of-a-kind event to take part in a virtual career fair that allows science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) students, recruiters, and professionals to visit exhibits and have live one-on-one interviews. In addition, job seekers who were unable to attend BEYA in February will be able to join the candidate pool. With access to our database of thousands of job seekers, primarily from the 15 ABET-accredited historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs), you will have the tools to find the perfect candidates for your company. The BEYA Virtual Career Fair will give the same, if not more access, to talented students and professionals in STEM and will create a long-term, unique branding opportunity with ABET-accredited HBCUs and students.


Why the BEYA Virtual Career Fair makes sense: Virtual career fairs only work when you have the employers and the talent pool. BEYA has a proven track record of being able to connect students and professionals with corporate and federal employers. We have placed tens of thousands of students and professionals in careers in the military, federal government, education, and industry.

How does the BEYA Virtual Career Fair work? The BEYA Virtual Career Fair will allow employers to create their own booth on the career fair with the help of a project manager. We will organize students on campuses across the country from leading minority institutions to register for the career fair and upload their resumes. Employers will have access to the database of resumes prior to the live event and schedule job seekers for interviews. Job seekers will log into the virtual career fair between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM EST on Wednesday, March 20, 2019. Access to the resume database will be available for 30 days following the date of the live event.
