K-12 VILLAGE SUPPORT STEM EDUCATION The K-12 Village is a highly visible event at the BEYA STEM Conference. The K-12 Village is located off the busy career fair floor and allows employers to target high value pre-college students in an inclusive environment.
Over the 3-day BEYA STEM Conference this K-12 Village will be available to students 24/7. The theme is Each One, Teach One. Sponsors can have virtual exhibits, either hosted or non hosted, and include downloadable materials for student use. This event provides children and parents access to resources for college information, STEM careers, and exposure to STEM professionals. In addition to the exhibits there will be a career day for young people from kindergarten to 12th grade. The K-12 virtual career day will feature leading professionals, including David L. Brewer, a retired vice-admiral of the United States Navy and former superintendent of the Los Angeles Unified School District, the second-largest public school district in the United States.
