Things will be a little different compared to our other shows, with precautionary protocols in place to keep everyone safe, but there still will be plenty of opportunities to find some deals, learn from industry leaders, and network all weekend long.
RJO is looking to complete our own comeback story, leave 2020 behind for good, and gather

COME together Safely!
We are incredibly excited to welcome back our members to exclusive RJO Buying Shows. It has been far too long since we have Come Together and we can’t wait to see everyone in Cincinnati. As we plan for the upcoming show, the safety of all our attendees is at the forefront of our planning process. The show will look a little different than previous shows. RJO has developed the RJO Safety Success Plan, which includes overall safety measures as well as daily show safety steps. Currently, we are unable to host large evening networking events as we work through capacity restrictions and current event guidelines. However, we look to provide a wonderful experience complete with top-notch, in-person education and a buying room filled with your favorite vendors. We truly appreciate our members’ understanding as we plan an event during this fluid time. It is imperative for all attendees to review and follow the RJO Safety Success Plan. Please be sure to watch your inbox for any changes to the RJO Summer Buying Show, Come Together!
Badges and health screening wristbands will be required to enter any RJO event including seminars, the buying floor and meal functions. To receive your badges, you must sign the conference waiver. Also, you must pass the daily text waiver and temperature screening to receive your pre-screen wristband. A different colored wristband will be needed for entry each day. Due to capacity restrictions, RJO will only offer one-track of seminars to be held in a large, open ballroom with social distancing requirements followed. Please note, there is limited seating in the educational seminars and luncheon. Be sure you have registered for these events.

PASSING THE TORCH: LESSONS LEARNED BY REAL TEAMS A panel discussion facilitated by Kate Peterson, Performance Concepts It seems that when it comes to advice on major decisions impacting your business, everyone has a point of view (well-meaning vendors, family members, employees, friends), but a lot of times, even good advice from someone who hasn't been where you are leads to confusion and even more anxiety. This is especially true when it comes to matters of succession planning. Whether you're on or near the 'stepping back' side or the 'stepping up' side of your business transition, this session is a great opportunity to spend time with a panel of 'been-there-done-that' RJO colleagues ready to discuss their own experiences and to answer your questions.

THE NEW LUXURY RETAIL PLAYBOOK – CHAPTER ONE: MANAGEMENT AND LEADERSHIP IN A WORLD OF DISRUPTION Kate Peterson, Performance Concepts FACT: There is no going back to the pre-2020 workplace – especially in retail. The pandemic is not the only disruption we have experienced in the past 18 months. We also have lived through a time of political divisiveness, social unrest and ongoing digital disruption, to name just a few. Success focused businesses and individuals have had to discover new ways of working. Many have reported successfully implementing years’ worth of digital transformation plans over the course of a few months. Others managed to move at warp speed to put new roles, rules and strategies into place just to survive; while still others are nearing their last gasp, waiting patiently for a return to the way things used to be. Experts agree the subsiding of the pandemic certainly will not mean an end to disruption. Now is the time to ask yourself how you can build on your recent innovations to further transform your team and your business, rather than planning a return to ways of working that were becoming outdated and obsolete even before March 2020. This presentation will offer strategies to implement through five critical team growth phases: Reflect, Recommit, Re-engage, Rethink and Reboot. Carefully examining your business through each of these phases as you move forward will help you develop a team and a plan that is resilient in the face of all types of disruption and that maintains your brand differentiation and strength through whatever comes next. 8
