The last official day for our Seniors was Thursday 3 November. It is always a bitter sweet time for us here at Lakes High and an emotional rollercoaster for our students. We will miss all our students however we are very proud of them and wish them all the very best for their finals. I look forward to our Leavers Dinner on 7 December, where I can catch up with our senior students and their whānau in a social setting.
Last week, we held our Senior Academic Prizegiving Ceremony. It was a fantastic event, and an absolute pleasure to see our students receive their awards. The evening was very enjoyable and a proud occasion for us to celebrate the academic successes of our Senior Students. A big thank you to all our students and staff who organized this event, without whom it would not have been so successful. My thanks also to all our special guests for attending and for presenting our students with their cups and certificates.

NZQA
Students should be logging into their area on the NZQA site ( www.nzqa.govt.nz) regularly to check their entries for externals, current results and how they link to Pathways and also, they can see their personalised exam timetable. All they need is their NSN ( this is on all the tracking reports and can be accessed through the KAMAR and Schoolpoint portals). We strongly encourage students to do this often!
NCEA EXAMS 2022
The 2022 Examination Timetable for current NCEA standards and New Zealand Scholarship will run from: Monday 14 November to Tuesday 6 December 2022.
