E te mareikura moe mai rà Kua ea, kua oti ou mahi Whakataa mau e hika I roto I ngà ringaringa o te Atua E kore matou e wareware It is with immense sadness that I reflect on the passing of Wynel Raureti-George. She was a stalwart of our school community, on the Board for many years and Board Chairperson for 2 years. She was an ex pupil, she was also the school representative on the Ngati Whakaue Endowment Board. Her sudden passing earlier this week was a shock to all. The School showed it’s appreciation for her long term dedication and service to our school, by performing a mass Haka and farewelling her on her journey home to Matata and her final resting place. Her presence will be sorely missed throughout our entire community. Staff and students will also be attending the Tangi on her Marae in Matata tomorrow at 11 am. Our sincere condolences to her husband Russell, sons Brent and Glen and the Raureti Family. 1
