Kia ora Koutou, This week we had the pleasure of hosting Turanga Merito to deliver a dance expo to our Junior Students. Some of you may have seen the great photos out on Facebook. I am pleased to announce that Turanga Merito will be coming into school weekly in 2020, to deliver a dance programme to our students. This is a fantastic opportunity for them to develop and follow their dreams. I had the pleasure of awarding a number of certificates in assembly this week, recognizing our students who had performed particularly well in the International Credential Assessment Service (ICAS) exams in Maths, Science and English. It was pleasing to see how many received a Distinction grade, meaning they were the top 10% in the country. It is great to see the sunshine back in the area. I wish you all an enjoyable weekend and look forward to seeing many of you at Junior prizegiving on 6 December 2019. Nga mihi
Jon Ward Principal / Tumuaki
