2017 TE ARAWA AWARDS The 2017 Te Arawa Awards finalists were announced this week and I am delighted to advise that our Year 11 Student, Kyra Mita, will be a finalist this year in the Junior Sportswomen division. Kyra and Latisha Winiata who are members of the Te Aurere J16 Girls Waka Ama team Okareka are also finalists in the Junior Teams Division. The awards showcase Te Arawa talent and acknowledge excellence in sport, cultural activities, service to the community, academia, and Te Arawa making positive contributions to whanau, hapu, iwi, and marae.

Outstanding Kyra and Latisha we wish you all the best.
