About Liberty
University
In just over four short decades, Liberty University has grown to become the nation’s largest private, nonprofit university, and most importantly, the largest Christian university in the world. Liberty is providing world-class education to the next generation of leaders through our residential campus and online programs. Currently in the midst of a $500 million campus reconstruction, Liberty is using its financial resources to build worldclass facilities and programs. But our commitment goes deeper than just building new classrooms; we are building lives, remaining true to our original mission of Training Champions for Christ.
6
The purpose of this guide is to keep parents connected to Liberty and apprised of the services available to them and their students. Liberty has much to offer to make students feel at home. Sending a student away to college is a milestone in the life of a parent, but it can also be a time of great apprehension as decisions are made for your child’s future. Parents can rest assured that at Liberty, the values they instilled in their children will not be undermined. We are committed to partnering with you in guiding your student through the challenges and triumphs of the next few years. Firmly grounded in a Christian worldview, our mission remains unchanged. Your student will have a wonderful college experience at Liberty University.
