icrowave ovens are smarter than ever. “As consumers look for kitchen solutions that make cooking easier, Sharp has developed a range of microwave ovens that deliver on our brand promise of ‘Simply Better Living,’” said Peter Weedfald, senior vice president of sales and marketing, Sharp Home Electronics Company of America. Sharp uses technology and companion apps to make the features of its smart appliances clear and accessible. “Tasks that may seem challenging to perform from the control panel are simple and easy using the Sharp Kitchen app,” Weedfald added, pointing out that the company recently debuted its smart countertop microwave ovens featuring dozens of Alexa-compatible voice commands, WiFi-connectivity and handsfree Alexa compatibility.
