New Taylor Morrison homes coming to Estrella in Goodyear

strella Partners LP (comprised of Harvard Investments, Toll Brothers and Värde Partners), announced that Taylor Morrison closed on 20.37 acres in Lucero at Estrella. The transaction includes 67 lots available to buyers at the end of 2022. Taylor Morrison, which already offers homes in Lucero and CantaMia 55+ at Estrella, plans to include one of their new series of floorplans in this second phase of Lucero at Estrella. Located 17 miles west of Phoenix, Estrella is a 20,000-acre mixed-use master-planned community. Estrella is home to more than 7,000 families and includes multiple Residents’ Clubs, resort-style pools, a waterpark, 72 acres of lakes, 50-plus miles of paths and trails, the Yacht Club of Estrella, the award-winning Nicklaus Design course at the Golf Club of Estrella, community welcome center Casa Lucero and more than 40 parks.

What are some of the reasons for any fluctuation?
A
The federal government has been aggressively involved in keeping interest rates low. This year, the federal government has responded by pulling back from buying bonds and this is affecting our interest rates.

How can potential newhome buyers keep tabs on what’s going on with mortgage rates?
A
It is important to watch the market and check current interest rates on lenders’ websites but be careful not to fall prey to quotes for lower interest rates because they may require points/charges for that low rate. It is always best to find an experienced loan officer you can trust and look to them for help navigating the interest rates and mortgage market.
