Johnson Family Home: Cassville, MO (Barry County)
Our family welcomed a set of girl/boy twins at just over 35 weeks’
gestation on July 2, 2018. Our little girl, Senyah Evalee, weighed 6 lbs. 4.9 oz. and was 20 inches long. Our little boy, Sylas Hans, weighed 5 lbs. 15 oz. and was 19.5 inches long. They were born with difficulty breathing and were sent to the NICU on breathing machines. Due to the uncertainty of our twins’ health and having two other boys at home, Liam (5) and Kiptyn (4), we were not sure what we would do. Then, a huge weight was lifted when we received a room at the Ronald McDonald House. Not only were we provided with a room; but meals, goodie bags and everyday essentials were given to our two younger boys while they were there visiting their siblings. We never knew the importance of the Ronald McDonald House until we needed a place to stay. We cannot stress enough the importance of giving to help these families while caring for their sick children. We will forever be grateful for the RMHC and will also continue to give annually to support them.
