When Jonah was born on September 19th, he was immediately taken to the NICU for oxygen support. He had a birth diagnosis of Down syndrome (just like his brother, Jamison, three years prior) and was later diagnosed with severe Laryngomalacia, which required surgery. During his threeweek NICU stay, we resided at the Ronald McDonald House, just as we did three years ago with our oldest, Jamison. We cannot express enough gratitude for this wonderful charity. They provided us with a place to sleep and a warm meal every night, which allowed us to focus our attention solely on our son and not ourselves. The Ronald McDonald House will always have a special place in our hearts!
