Congratulations Turaya Having been shortlisted in the Regent’s International Fashion Competition last term, Turaya and her fellow Year 12 Textiles students attended the Regents University Fashion Show where she was awarded the Runner Up Prize. This was a prestigious competition with entrants from around the world, so Turaya’s achievement is truly one of which to be very proud. Well done!

SPORTS NEWS Congratulations to Megan! Congratulations to Megan (Year 12) who has been selected for the U17 Mavericks squad from around 60 girls who attended trials last weekend.

Golf: The weather was fine but very chilly and three schools took part with four teams and after a very tense finish RMS came out victorious with a record score of 72 points. BOARDING NEWS Farewell to Charlotte! The Boarding community said 'Thank you and Goodbye' to Charlotte, Deputy Head Girl For Boarding at their Family Supper on Thursday evening. The girls enjoyed a fun quiz before Myrtle, the incoming Deputy Head Girl For Boarding, spoke about Charlotte's achievements and the positive impact she has had on the boarders this year. Michelle and Ishta presented Charlotte with a small token of the Boarders appreciation and wished her well for the future.

Year 13 Boarders’ Tea Party On Sunday 14th May 2017, the other Year 13 Boarders and I, along with staff members who have supported us along the way, came together to celebrate the time we have spent at RMS. Over the years that we have all been here, we have made strong friendships and lots of memories. Therefore, the Tea Party that we held was a perfect opportunity to reminisce about the times we have had and look back at pictures (some we wish had never been taken in order to forget certain hairstyles). During the course of the afternoon we chatted about our time in boarding as well as sipped on Bucks Fizz and nibbled on sandwiches, which were kindly provided by the Catering Department. The experiences, support and opportunities we have had as boarders would not have been possible without the staff that have been there to support us as well as the friends we have made along the way.
