Act II: The Ritz
Thank you to...
The Ritz
The Ritz curates an eclectic mix of costumes and boutique clothing. There is something for every style here, from chic everyday looks to wild festival fashions. And for costumes, whether your party theme is 70s glam or outer space we have what you need: glitter, rhinestones, faux furs, and fringe in every corner. A Boulder staple for 45 years, stop in and prepare to be amazed!
Wonderland is one of our favorite costume themes every year, so we had a great time putting together these looks for Roam. Exploring the combination of fashion and costume to create nods to each iconic character was a fun challenge, and we loved seeing them executed and photographed on the runway.

Act III: Strawberry Mountain
Strawberry Mountain is a buy-sell-trade clothing resale store catering to all eras of fashion as a source for self expression, current trends and sustainable shopping at affordable prices. Located in Denver’s Art District on Santa Fe, we are driven by the community and are passionate about raising awareness of the importance of slowing down fashion. Whether you’re looking to switch up your wardrobe or downsize your belongings for a boost in the bank account, this is the place where self-expressive, fashion-forward, minimalist, and maximalist dreams can come true!
Strawberry Mountain
I always love the opportunity to use my styling skills, so when Roam Boulder reached out about this project, I was immediately excited. Once I knew the theme of the show, my co-stylist and I got to work pulling a ton of fun pieces from the shop (Strawberry Mountain) that we knew would make fantastical, whimsical looks. Working with the production crew and our models for several weeks was such a great way to get us fully prepared and dial in the looks. We also had the opportunity to work with a jewelry designer who made amazing pieces that complimented our looks perfectly. As someone who has done several fashion shows in the past, I was impressed with the level of organization and vision that went into making this show happen. Ultimately, being able to work with like minded people who are fearless, strong, and excited about fashion was one of my favorite parts of being part of this project.
“We believe in paying a fair price for our merchandise and charging a fair price in return, paying our employees a living wage, fostering sustainability awareness, and sharing love & light with all humans. We also love collaborating with local artists, business’ & entrepreneurs and have teamed up with others to put on great fashion shows and pop-ups. We host local talent in the shop on First Friday for the monthly Art Walk on Santa Fe. We’re excited about community building and we love featuring locally made goods in the shop!”

Act IV: Osborne
Osborne Weng is a student fashion designer, drawing inspiration from diverse sources like iconic designers Vivienne Westwood, Alexander McQueen, and Elsa Schiaparelli, as well as the literary spirit of the Beat Generation. As a humble and dedicated learner, Osborne weaves together elements of punk, avant-garde, and surrealism with the raw, rebellious energy of the Beats, to create unique and thought-provoking pieces. Committed to sustainability and ethical production, Osborne hopes to make a positive impact through his creative endeavors as he diligently works to develop and refine his craft. His designs, influenced by his artistic and literary heroes, reflect his ongoing journey as a designer. (Is it alright to use this paragraph again, or should I write something more specific about each piece? Let me know if you need more information.)
One of my most rewarding experiences working on Runway: Rabbit Hole was the exceptional collaboration with the creative minds from ROAM. The process seamlessly blended shared ambition, commitment to excellence, and an incredible drive to bring unique fashion narratives to life. Everyone in our team was remarkably efficient, balancing their responsibilities while innovating in their respective roles. The positive energy was palpable throughout our process, fueling our productivity and encouraging a sense of unity that transcended mere collaboration. This wasn’t just a group of individuals working together, but a single entity moving towards a common goal with shared enthusiasm. This cohesive collaboration built up a truly enriching and rewarding experience.
