•Stress to coaches that they must check to see if the area is a safe environment for athletes and others, others e e.g. g Parents /Observers.. Are other field users a potential danger to the athletes? • Remind them that this is an ongoing requirement. For example, check the area is safe ( broken glass / sprinkler heads etc etc..)) at the start, start then make sure that all ensuing activities are safe (e.g. when setting up a shooting practice, is anyone likely to be struck by a stray ball?)
